What I do

Five capabilities. The value is in the combination.

Each of these is common on its own. Together they describe someone who sits between technical teams, operations and leadership and keeps complex AI work moving. Choose one to see the evidence.

Bridging people, operations & AI

01 / 05

AI project delivery & coordination

Requirements, dependencies, documentation and follow-through across multi-team AI work, so developers and specialists can stay on their specialist work.

Evidence

02 / 05

AI governance & compliance

A developing specialisation, built from inside AI delivery rather than from the sidelines.

Evidence

03 / 05

Operations & process

Years of running real operations before AI: stock, suppliers, fulfilment, reporting and the processes that hold them together.

Evidence

04 / 05

People & communication

Rooted in hospitality: understanding what different people need, and helping technical and non-technical colleagues understand each other.

Evidence

05 / 05

AI prototyping & applied experimentation

I learn by building. Outside my formal role I use AI-assisted tools to turn ideas into working digital products.

Evidence

How I work

How I move work forward

Complex projects rarely stall because nobody is working. They stall because information, people, resources and decisions are disconnected.

What a project starts with

  • Business need
  • Missing requirements
  • Technical dependencies
  • Governance requirements
  • Missing assets & resources
  • Stakeholder misalignment
  • Information gaps
  • Approvals & decisions

What I do

  1. 01

    Clarify

Turn loose requests into documented requirements every team reads the same way.

  2. 02

    Connect

Find who owns each dependency and put the right people in the same conversation.

  3. 03

    Coordinate

Keep parallel workstreams, actions and documents visible and in step.

  4. 04

    Unblock

Chase the approvals, assets, access and answers a specialist would otherwise lose days chasing.

  5. 05

    Deliver

Follow through until the loop is closed and the work can move on.

What the team gets

  • Aligned stakeholders
  • Clearer requirements
  • Available resources
  • Unblocked specialists
  • Better project visibility
  • Governed delivery

I don't replace the specialists. I help create the conditions in which they can do their best work.

What I have done

Selected work

Each case follows the same shape: the challenge, my part in it, and what came out. Client details are sanitised, and no confidential documents, systems or data are shown.

Organisation building Establishing AI Enterprise Solutions A new AI department needed people, structure and governance while delivery work was already starting. 1 of 7 founding members · 40+ hires supported
Challenge
Scicom set up a new AI Enterprise Solutions department with a founding team of seven. It needed an operating foundation (hiring, administration, governance and a formal set-up) at the same time as its first projects began.
My role
One of the seven founding members. I took significant responsibility for governance, administration, hiring and departmental set-up.
Approach
  • Supported the hiring of 40+ people into the department
  • Handled administration and formal departmental set-up
  • Coordinated operational activity so delivery teams could focus on delivery
  • Helped establish the department's social media presence
Collaboration
The other founding members, department leadership, and the recruitment and support functions involved in building a new team.
Outcome
An operating foundation of people, structure and governance for the department's delivery work to build on.
Skills demonstrated
  • Organisation building
  • Hiring coordination
  • Governance set-up
  • Ownership beyond the job description
Enterprise AI delivery Sanitised Working across an enterprise AI programme A large AI initiative with many parallel workstreams and stakeholders on both the business and technical sides. Contributions across four programme workstreams
Challenge
A major enterprise AI initiative with parallel workstreams, where business, technical and governance stakeholders each needed different information in different forms.
My role
Supporting several workstreams within the programme rather than a single narrow track.
Approach
  • Coordinated and documented user journeys and processes
  • Contributed to the functional requirements specification (FRS)
  • Prepared System Design Authority visuals by gathering technical inputs and turning them into material stakeholders could review
  • Gathered data-governance requirements and coordinated responses
Collaboration
Technical specialists, project teams, governance stakeholders and management, with information passing between groups that don't share the same vocabulary.
Outcome
Documentation and visuals that let different stakeholder groups review the same work, and a track record of operating across several parts of an AI programme at once.
Skills demonstrated
  • Requirements gathering
  • User journeys
  • Technical documentation
  • Stakeholder coordination
Governance & data compliance Sanitised Governance documentation for a major telecoms client A major Malaysian telecommunications client needed a governance and data-compliance document drawing on many teams. Key coordination and preparation role
Challenge
A major Malaysian telecommunications client, one of the company's largest, required a governance and data-compliance document. The information it needed was spread across several teams.
My role
A key coordination and preparation role on the document.
Approach
  • Gathered the required information from the teams that held it
  • Coordinated responses to governance requirements across teams
  • Prepared documentation supporting the client's compliance requirements
Collaboration
Technical, project and governance contributors across the department, working to the client's requirements.
Outcome
A governance and compliance document assembled from many contributors for one of the company's largest clients.
Skills demonstrated
  • Data governance
  • Compliance documentation
  • Cross-team coordination
  • Careful information handling
Internal prototype Cost, budget and expense tracking Project finances were hard to see in one place. Working prototype
Challenge
Budgets, payments and expenses for project work were not visible in one place, which made financial follow-up slow.
My role
Designed and built the prototype.
Approach
  • Structured tracking for budgets, actual payments and expenses
  • Added finance form references and reconciliation fields
Collaboration
Shaped around the project and finance follow-up I was already coordinating.
Outcome
A prototype internal tracking solution aimed at clearer project financial visibility. It is a prototype, not a production finance platform.
Skills demonstrated
  • Process design
  • Financial tracking
  • Practical prototyping
Operations & e-commerce Before AI E-commerce operations and process improvement Running day-to-day e-commerce operations while fixing the processes behind them. 49% → 90% reporting efficiency · 30%+ of event sales via preorder
Challenge
Online retail operations across several platforms with roughly 200 SKUs, overseas suppliers and manual reporting.
My role
Managed operations across platforms, stock, suppliers and reporting.
Approach
  • Automated reporting formulas and removed manual data entry, lifting efficiency from roughly 49% to 90%
  • When stock ran short at an event, helped set up a preorder process on the spot
  • Built an Excel-based point-of-sale for an exhibition, working with a barcode scanner, an office laptop and the bank terminal
  • Sourced and vetted suppliers in China, including at the Canton Fair, and arranged EXW, FOB and DDP shipments
Collaboration
Suppliers, couriers, sales platforms and customers.
Outcome
The improvised preorder process accounted for more than 30% of that event's sales, and reporting became far less manual.
Skills demonstrated
  • Process improvement
  • Inventory & logistics
  • Supplier management
  • Problem solving under pressure

What I build

AI Labs

Personal projects built with AI-assisted development tools. I own the idea, the structure, the content and the decisions; AI tools do much of the coding. They show how I learn, not a claim to be a software engineer.

Live and growing

Blood of Icetear (opens in a new tab)

An illustrated dark-fantasy world: a codex of its ages, a gallery, a library of stories, narrated sagas, a character trial and a workshop of tools.

Why I built it
To give the fantasy world I write a proper home, and to see how far AI-assisted building could take one person.
My contribution
The world, the writing, the information architecture and every product decision.
How AI was used
AI-assisted development, text-to-speech narration in a consistent narrator voice, and LLM-driven interactive pieces.
What I learned
Check the live site in a real browser, keep secrets out of the code, and keep content separate from layout.

Gates 1 and 2 live · AI companion in development

Dharmalogist (opens in a new tab)

A Buddhist learning site in three Gates: the history of Buddhism, stories and lessons, and a planned AI companion grounded in Buddhist teaching.

Why I built it
To make Buddhist history and teaching approachable, and to explore what a responsible AI companion in that space should look like.
My contribution
The concept, structure and content workflow: I find the source material, AI drafts, and I review before anything is published.
How AI was used
AI-assisted development and AI-drafted, human-reviewed articles. The companion is designed to offer perspective rather than instruction.
What I learned
Human review has to sit inside the content workflow, not after it.

Live

Hemachandra Legacy (opens in a new tab)

A long-form storytelling site built as a family birthday tribute.

Why I built it
A gift that could hold a whole career and a family's words in one place.
My contribution
The narrative structure, design direction and content rules.
How AI was used
AI-assisted build, with a strict rule that nothing about a real person is invented.
What I learned
Where facts are missing, show a marked gap rather than a plausible guess.

Where I'm going
